As the port and customs area were being recycled in the early 90s for the development of high-end office buildings and restaurants along the canal, we developed residential properties in the area opposite to Puerto Madero towards the river. These are 8- to 9-storey buildings with fabulous views to the canal and the river. Litman Architects participated in the esthetics design of Santa María del Puerto —a 45,000 sqm French style residential property—. They also took part in the recycling of El Malecón del Puerto, which involved recycling 40,000 sqm of the Silos building located in Puerto Madero, as well as in the design of 150,000-sqm home residence buildings occupying two blocks along the canal.
